![]() While on vacation in Binz, Germany, President Susanne and PE Nelson attended the Rotary Club of Rügen-Binz and were welcomed kindly by the club's president and members. Susanne and Nelson also accepted the Rotary Club of Three Creeks' first-ever trading banner. We'll work toward scheduling a program for Susanne and Nelson to share what they learned, and about the Rotary Club of Rügen-Binz. Vielen Dank to our new friends in Rügen. ![]() There it goes! President Susanne today dropped our New Club Charter Application in the mail to Rotary International. ![]() Our new club's momentum is really rolling after a wonderful meeting this past Thursday, when were generously hosted by Scot and Ashley Brantley at their home in Salmon Creek. We held a club assembly to formalize a number of things, which brought us even closer to our charter. In fact, we are ready to submit our charter application to District 5100 and Rotary International! The evening started with two more charter member applications, bringing our total to 21! (Welcome to the club Rick Wickizer and Lisa Abrahamsson). With three more expected before we submit our application, we've almost reached the goal of 25! The membership voted to formalize the first and third Thursdays of each month as our meeting schedule, effective October 1, 2016. We will also meet for firesides or fellowship on the fifth Thursdays when those occur.
