Interested in Our Club?

Becoming a new member for the Rotary Club of Three Creeks once you have a sponsor is easy, and while there is a formal process outlined in our bylaws, any current member of our club may propose a new member – or a member who wishes to transfer from another club – at any time.

Thank you for your interest in the Rotary Club of Three Creeks. We're glad you're here. Our membership application process is pretty simple, and we're a very fun, flexible and welcoming group.
Here’s the process:
  • Anyone interested in potentially joining the club is encouraged to attend 1-2 meetings of the club, as our guest. This provides you the opportunity to “get to know” the club and decide whether it is a good “fit” for them prior to applying.
  • Once a potential member decides to apply for membership, their sponsor [a current member who often knows the guest] proposes a candidate for membership to the club’s board of directors by completing the online application which can be found by clicking the "Apply Now" button below. The club’s membership director and secretary will receive copies of these applications when they are submitted.
  • The secretary will set an appointment for the proposed member [candidate] to meet with the membership director, or a designee, who will review expectations of Rotary Club members.
  • The proposed member’s name will be presented to the membership in two consecutive meetings, and in the electronic newsletter prior to the board’s vote regarding the proposed member.
  • Objections to the candidate must be provided to the president, or another board member, in writing prior to the candidate’s membership vote by the board of directors.
  • The board makes a decision about the candidate’s membership within 30 days and notifies the proposing member [sponsor] of its decision.
  • If the board approves the candidate’s membership, the club secretary will coordinate induction.
Once a member is approved for membership, he or she will be inducted into the club and given a “red badge”, and their sponsor will introduce them officially to the club, and present them with a Rotary lapel pin. Transfers will be installed in the Rotary Club of Three Creeks with the same badge [red or blue] that they had when they left their previous club. "Red Badgers" are required to complete this list of tasks, to help them learn about Rotary and become more engaged in the club. Once this checklist is complete the new member is awarded a Blue Badge and is celebrated at a regular meeting of the club.
